If you enjoy Tough Mudder, Spartan, IDPA, ISPC, etc….but you want to see a combination of other skills, you will LOVE this series. This series will be different challenges each month in which we will test you in various areas of handgun, rifle, problem-solving, and other skill sets. June 29th - 2 Gun July 28th - Rifle Only August 24th - Dealers Choice September 28th - Pistol Only Prize package: $2000.00 worth of gear for 1st place., 2nd place $500.00 prizes. 3rd place trophy. Due to the nature of this series, the exact event details will not be disclosed, but here are some things you can expect. Handgun accuracy Handgun speed Rifle accuracy Rifle speed Shotgun Medical If it is a skill that could be used in everyday applications, be ready! All courses in the series will promote participation by all skill and fitness levels. Equipment Required: Stock handgun – (any duty type weapon 9mm or larger, stock or “drop-in” parts only) Duty type or everyday carry type holster and magazine holders Duty or everyday carry magazines (no “happy” sticks) Tourniquet on gear off 3 magazines per firearm 75 rounds of handgun ammunition per event 50 rounds of sporting rifle ammunition per event Safety glasses Hearing protection Gloves (Mechanixwear type) Good closed toe shoes Long pants Classification of Shooters: Advanced Marksman Recreational Shooters ***If you have competed before and placed in the event, you will be classified as "Advanced Marksman." This is subject to decision by LSA. Prerequisites: --You must have foundational understanding of firearm safety. --Must be 16+ Notes: This series will not have long distances or heavy load outs. Courses with running or other physical activity will be scored where those with markmanship can compensate for limited physical ability. Our intention is that this series is fun for all involved and that we build our skills together.
